This video by Alone highlights the impact of oil pollution on the Ogoni and other communities in the Niger Delta. In 2011 the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) released its report on the Environmental Assessment of Ogoniland. The UNEP Report revealed widespread pollution. However, government has been slow to act on the recommendations of UNEP. In this video, community members speak out about their dilemma, fears and expectations.
